Not only did the McRaes sponsor the event, but they also competed with two teams of their own.  Rod and Peter played together, and Roddy and his son Rick also played in the event on August 4th in Maplewood.  Roddy and Rick played very well, finishing tied for 8th.

Tied after 18 holes on August 4th, the two teams returned four weeks later, on September 1st, for a 3 hole playoff.  After both teams parred the first hole, Bobby Krueger hit a long drive on the second hole.  His father followed that up with a chip in for an Eagle 2 to help secure the victory!
